Laguna Luau 2024

Laguna Luau is a beach retreat for 7-12th graders to Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center on the outskirts of Panama City Beach, FL (https://christiancamp.com). We will ride down there together on charter buses/vans and stop on the way there and back for lunch (students will need to bring money for these meals, but all other meals/food will be provided).

Once we arrive to the retreat center, we will stay there the entire weekend. Throughout the weekend, students will participate in various activities to help them grow closer to God and one another. There will be Bible studies, small groups, and worship each day.  There will also be individual devotional times. Our guest preacher is Chris Wilson, the pastor of the Church of the Heights church plant in Starkville, MS. Our guest worship leader will be Tyler Burleson, also from Church of the Heights.

Students will also play organized games and have free time each day to hang out on the beach or at the retreat center (which has multiple pools, sports courts, an ice cream/coffee shop, etc.). We will be staying in bunk-style rooms and have our own dedicated cooks and eating/worship space.

The price for Laguna Luau is $229/person until May 29. There is a reduced price of $189/person for guests and for students in families that have more than one child going. This price will increase to $249/$209 after May 29. Scholarships are also available to help with the payment if needed—just let Russell know!

Each student will need a liability form filled out in order to attend. If your student has attended any other retreats/DNOW this past school year, they already have a form on file.
