DNow 2024

DNow Weekend Information

DNOW 2024 is April 5-7 at Central Baptist Church! DNOW (short for Disciple Now) is a weekend of focused discipleship to help the teens of our church and community learn to follow Jesus. Students will be dropped off at Central Baptist Church on Friday night. There will be activities, worship, and Bible study at the church throughout the weekend. Students will spend Friday and Saturday nights at the home of a church member with other teens of their same age and gender. There will be authorized adult drivers transporting the students and young adult leaders helping facilitate the activities and Bible study times. You can drop your teen off for DNOW at 6:00 PM on Friday night at the church. DNOW will last until the completion of our church service on Sunday morning, which ends at 11:45 AM.

FAQ:

  1. What if my teen can only come for part of the time? Your teen is welcome to come to any part of DNOW even if they cannot be there the entire time! We want your teen to be there for as much of the weekend as possible. If your teen will be arriving late or must leave at some point, you must to fill out a time away form for them. This can be found by clicking the link on this page.
  2. What does the cost cover? The cost for the weekend covers 4 meals, all activities, the guest speaker and worship leaders, and a long-sleeve T-shirt.
  3. What if my teen is coming with a friend? If your teen has invited a friend or been invited by a friend to attend DNOW, indicate that on the sign-up form and we will make sure that they remain together in the host homes and for other activities.
  4. Where should I drop my teen off and pick them up? All students can be dropped off at Central Baptist Church on Friday night and picked up from there on Sunday morning. You can drop them off and pick them up either at the front steps or at the side entrance (where the many cars will be parked).
  5. Can my teenager drive their own car? Once they arrive, teenagers may only drive their own car if they have a signed Time Away form giving them permission from their parents to do so. Teenagers may NOT transport any other students throughout the weekend or drive to the host homes unless they need to leave at some point.
