Katie

I am a proud Hartselle Tiger and a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College.  The Lord brought us to Central when my husband and I returned to Hartselle in 2008, after his active duty service in the Navy.  I began working part-time in the children’s department in 2015 because I was passionate about what God was doing here.  I moved to this full-time ministry role in 2020.  I love sharing about the goodness of God with children.  I love helping them fall in love with Jesus, build relationships with each other, and learn to share God’s love with the world.

My husband, Scott, and I met in the youth group at church and married in 2000.  We have six amazing daughters that keep us busy!  If I’m not at a ballgame, a practice, or taxi driving for my girls, you’ll find me on my back porch with a book and a big glass of sweet tea.
