Russell

I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama and then attended Auburn University—War Eagle! While I was in college, God called me to ministry and I met my wife Christina. After we got married, we moved to the Birmingham area and I attended Beeson Divinity School, where I decided my Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Missions. While in Birmingham, I had the privilege of serving at Mountain Brook Community Church and with the Hispanic ministry of First Baptist Pelham.

Christina and I now have 2 children: Mateo and Marianna. We also serve in the Hispanic Ministry at Central. In my free time, I love to spend time outdoors, play/watch sports with friends, and read any book I can get my hands on!

Having served youth & young adults for the past 7 years, I am passionate about seeing the next generation come to know and worship Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I love to introduce youth to the love of Christ and the awesome purpose we have as believers to show that love to the world!
